CES 2011 4G Mobile Phone Coverage

Thursday marks the beginning of the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, NV. It’s the annual convention for technophiles to gather and drool over the newest in high end consumer electronics and entertainment. Last year CES focused heavily on Natural User Interface (NUI) and 3D flatscreens. This year, Verizon is already making waves with rumors of numerous 4G phones being rolled out across it’s new LTE network.

The Wall Street Journal recently reported that an anonymous industry source told them that Verizon is planning on releasing several 4G phones that use the Android operating system. This is a decisive strategic move to flood the market with 4G smartphones while the Apple iPhone still doesn’t have 4G access. Verizon is banking on users’ frustrations with shoddy AT&T connections and less than 4G speeds. Stay tuned to 4G Mobile Phones for all your CES 4G phone news.
